When you searched for your destination be sure that you have researched the place well enough. Even if you are not able to go there, but it is still necessary that you know what to expect when you arrive at the place. This person will be responsible for overseeing the location and any possible circumstances that may happen along the way.
After the location is done, the next step for the bride and groom is to prepare themselves and their belongings. For brides and her wedding dress, she is given two options when it comes to transporting her dress. She can either carry it with her as her personal luggage or she can transport it first to the hotel weeks before the wedding takes place. If the bride decides to transport her wedding dress first at the hotel, better inform the hotel first so that they can make the necessary arrangement on the wedding gown. If the bride decides to carry it with her at the airport, make sure that it won’t be put in a checked luggage. Most airplanes have coat closets and they can mostly allow their travelers to hang their garment bags, but make sure that they can provide this service by checking the airline first.
When it comes to grooms, they should make sure that they also carry their clothing needed for the ceremony. Unlike brides though, most grooms will just choose to carry their clothing for the ceremony than transport it first since their attire is not that bulky than the wedding dress. Make sure though that the attire needed for the ceremony are also well packed and prepared. Never find the needed attire where the destination wedding would be held since this will allow for anyone not to have the needed choices. Keep in mind that it is more practical to bring your own clothes than to find one in a hurry.
For your documents, you will need to bring your birth certificates and divorce papers if it is a second wedding, and other needed papers that both of you will need to legalize the marriage process.
