Wedding Checklists For Planners: Make Sure the Wedding Goes Smoothly

Being a wedding planner is not easy as it sounds. You need to have people skills so that you will know how to handle different personalities of your clients. In addition, you will need to deal with other people involved in the wedding planning as well.
To keep you well organized, you will need to have a wedding checklist to help you remember things that are important to the bride and groom. With the help of this checklist, you will never get lost in what you should do. This will help you get things done smoothly.
Your wedding checklist must involve the following important details:
1. Venue – Ask your client what is the theme of their wedding. The venue must coincide with their theme. If they want a Hawaiian wedding, then the appropriate venue for the event should be at the beach. Look for beach resorts that are available to hold the event on their wedding date.

Another factor you should consider is whether the resort of your client’s choice can accommodate all their guests. If it can, then book it immediately. As much as possible ask your clients for several choices. This will help you be prepared to look for other venues in case something comes up, for example if the resort of their choice cannot accommodate all their guests.
2. Gown fittings – Before the wedding date, it is important that the bride and groom and their entourage have their fittings done. This will ensure that whatever changes regarding their gowns and tuxedos will be made before the main event.
3. Caterers – Ask your client for their food preference. Base on their choices, search for a caterer that offers what your client wants. Once you have chosen a caterer, ask for a tasting for your clients. Include a wine tasting also. When your clients have made a choice then ask the caterer to ready the food and wine of their choice.
4. Wedding Cake – Ask your client what they want for a wedding cake. How many layers they want, what would be the cake’s flavor, and what would be the design.
5. Flower arrangements – Ask your client their choice of flowers. Ask the bride what flowers she wants for her bouquet. With your clients choices of flowers, decorate the venue. Make flower centerpieces also to make each guest table look elegant.
6. Invitations – Before sending out the wedding invitations, make sure that all details are correct.
7. Minister – This is the most important person you should not forget to inform. Without this person, the ceremony will never take place.
With the wedding checklist complete, rest assured that your client will have the best wedding ever.
