Buy extra parts, just in case you underestimated. Do not worry since you can always return the unused items or you can just store it for later and probably you will have use for it again one day.

Make sure you have plenty of support from those you trust. Your bridal party and your family should be there for you especially if you want to focus most of your energy doing DIY. Keep in mind that while DIY may be a good alternative, it would not be fun doing it alone. Being with friends and family can provide a great support system while you and they are enjoying the task you gave them.
