Best Beach Weddings Island Are Small Groups in South Padre

There are many reasons for having a wedding on the beach. One of the main reasons is to connect with nature and the whole mystery of the ocean and water, etc.
I view any outdoor venue as part of God’s Cathedral. I’ve had weddings in garden areas surrounded by tall pine trees, giving an awesome feeling of a cathedral. There is a nearby venue in the Rio Grande Valley which has rows of tall palm trees which also presents the majestic aura of a cathedral. But, nothing connects me with the presence of God like a beach wedding. The fullness of nature combines its elements on the beach like no other place on earth. There is the sound of the surf, the openness of the sea breezes (or winds), the calls for the seagulls (and sometimes other contributions), and the sight of the vastness of the ocean and its waves.
Most people are not aware that every seventh wave is the largest of a series of seven waves. This is one of the few places where nature is based on the number seven. Biblically the number seven is the number of God, denoting perfection and completeness. This is all part of the experience I have with each beach ceremony I conduct.
Most beach weddings I officiate at South padre island weddings are small groups. Usually, the bride and groom only invite immediate family and a couple of friends. Sometimes it is just the bride and group without family or friends.
However, a South padre weddings beach wedding is an extended event where all the guests, family, and friends, are invited to go to the location for a weekend, for instance. All the rooms are booked at the same hotel or resort. Therefore, it is more than just a wedding. It is an extended time for people to enjoy each others’ company; to have longer conversations and shared events, instead of just a wedding, party and then everyone goes home.
This concept is unique and is usually a once in a lifetime event. It takes a lot of planning because the couple is asking all there guests to travel to a distant location at the same time. So, it has to be planned in advance, to coordinate the dates, book the hotel or resort, and for all the guests to plan their calendars for the event.
A beach wedding is more spontaneous than a South padre island weddings. However, one thing that I would suggest is that even a destination beach wedding should not lose its sense of spontaneity and a somewhat casual atmosphere. One of the most off-putting weddings I ever experienced was a beach wedding where all the guests came dressed as if for a church wedding: full suits and ties, and the ladies in high heeled dress shoes.. in the sand! Only the minister, I, was dressed appropriately for a beach South padre weddings, complete with sandals. I hope I never have a repeat of that experience.
