Bangle Shakedown
Write down a short list of overly used bridal words such as bride, wedding, dress, honeymoon, ceremony etc. As each guest arrives, give her a charm bracelet or several beaded necklaces with a note listing the forbidden words rules. Those who call out another guest saying a forbidden word gets to receive a charm off the bracelet or the beaded necklace. Therefore, in this case, the one with the most charms left wins.
Firsts
Write down a series of questions regarding popular first in a person’s life and place in a bag. The bag is then passed around with the player selecting one sheet of paper. The player must read the question aloud and answer truthfully. Have players sit in a circle and pass the bag around. When the music stops, the player holding the bag draws a question. First questions can include: First Kiss? First alcoholic drink? First time 1st, 2nd, 3rd base etc. Adult questions are an interesting way to get party guests to open up with one another – especially when the alcoholic drinks start flowing.
Oven Mitts & Hose
Give each guest an oven mitt and a pair of pantyhose. How fast can you slip on a pair of pantyhose wearing oven mitts? The player who can put on the panty hose as fast as possible using the oven mitts, without tearing the panty hose, is declared the winner. In an added difficulty bonus have each payer wear oven mitts in combination with a blindfold. The player who can successfully put on panty hose without using hands or the ability to see earns a very cool bridal shower party favor.
Name Those Items
Place several items in a cloth bag and pass it around to players in a circle. The player who can correctly guess the most items in the bag just by feeling the bag for 20 seconds wins. Make it interesting by including items that a player might not readily recognize, like adult toys, and so on. The party host can write down the guesses of all the players an reveal the correct items after all have guessed.
