If there is one cult on earth that has just the right dose of grandeur, glamour and style than it’s certainly Rock. For all the rock band divas and their fans, it is essential that you look the way you want and for the Rock followers, there is more than a variety of haircuts and styling ideas. We share a few of our favorite rock hairstyles.
Bowl with Bangs
If you are into heavy metal or punk rock, then this haircut would suit you. You have to part your hair in two layers from the back. Tie the lower portion, which is only 1/3rd of the total and leave it untouched. The rest of the hair needs a bowl cut with thick and symmetrical fringes falling at the middle portion of the forehead. If you want you can color alternative strand in contrast colors like red and black. To add some more rocky feeling, the last 1/3rd can be razor edged in an asymmetrical manner.
Long Bangy Pixie
This is an adorable cut and would suit a tomboy the most. You have to get a slightly longer pixie that would leave some substantial bangs at one side of the forehead when you part it sideways. The bangs can then be swept to one side while falling over your forehead, eyebrows and even eyes. Let it be messy, don’t try to sport straight hair.
Messy fringes
Your haircut has to look like a space helmet, literally. Cut the sides and back portion of the hair in perfect symmetry and make sure that the length is no longer than your earlobes. The bangs can be slightly longer in the front. Now get some cool thick fringes on the front. The length should be covering your eyebrows and you would get a very dark yet chic look. Make sure that there is no alignment in your hair after the cut is complete. Do some head banging and make the bangs go back and forth for some action.
Straight but permed
If you have straight darker hair, you can get it permed in the end. Should look like the ends got some electric shock which curled them heavily. This hairstyle adds a lot of texture at the ends of the hair without doing much. Don’t perm the whole hair, only the last 1 or 1 and a half inches need this treatment. The results will be excellent. Add a strand of beads in various colors and your look is complete.
The extra long pixie
While pixie is a shorter hairstyle, you can grow your hair and get a longer pixie instead. Again, keep it very asymmetrical and don’t worry about what hair experts say about alignment. You are a rock chick and you don’t care for the rules. Leave bangs on one side that originate up the ear while the bangs on the other side originate up the forehead and fall down your jaw line. Go for a lot of layers and chops at the back of the head and let some strands fall below the nape.
